Adventure on the Lizard this half term with two days of exploring the rocky shore and brushing up on survival skills.

Families can join Claire Scott from Great Scott! Adventures Outdoors on Wednesday, June 1 for a morning of survival skills at the National Trust's Tremayne Woods.

The survival skills, which will include foraging, fire lighting, den building and cooking a snack over the fire, will run from 10am to 1pm.

Booking is essential and tickets cost £6 per child.

The following day, on Thursday, June 2, Claire will be running a rockpool ramble on Kennack Beach from 10am to 12pm for children to discover the ways of the rockpools and take a look at the weird and wonderful creatures that call the wild rocky shore their home.

The rockpool ramble costs £3 per child and there is no need to book for this day.

All children must be accompanied by an adult for each activity.

Having worked with Natural England and the National Trust, Claire is passionate about giving families the opportunity to explore and discover the outdoors, making adventures accessible to everybody.

More information about the events and how to book can be obtained by calling Claire on 01736 71187, emailing Claire@greatscottadventuresoutdoors.com or going online at www.greatscottadveturesoutdoors.com.
