Paradise Park at Hayle will be holding a Little Pirates and Fairies half term quiz which will provide entertainment for all the family.

Director Alison Hales said: “Children love the Little Pirates and Fairies Quiz, it adds a little bit of magical fun to Half Term. The quiz trail will run from 11th to 19th February and when you have completed the quiz claim your sweet treat – we’ve got chocolate gold coins and pink and white marshmallows and lollipops to reward little pirates and fairies.”

There is also the chance to meet Long John Tredinnick and his loyal band of parrots while you chart your course on your quest to find where the treasure is hidden.

And if the weather is foul, you can walk the rope bridge, climb the nets, fly down the slides, and the little ones can try their hand at the dancing balls in the toddler’s zone.

Plus keep a sharp eye out for in fine weather you will see free flying macaws and – more importantly for young pirates and fairies – a parrot may well sit on your shoulder at the daily parrot feeding time with the colourful Rainbow Lorikeets. Every day you can see otter feeding, enjoy Carrot Time in the Fun Farm, and you could be chosen to help feed the penguins so don’t forget your camera to capture the moment.
