Three Falmouth artists will be returning to the Poly in April after a very successful exhibition last year.

New exhibition, Edge, features prints, glass and ceramic by Sue Davis, Jane Smith and Lesley Harry, with visitors posed the question 'which way round?' and encouraged to decide for themselves.

Sue Davis will be showing vibrant mixed media wall pieces that the viewer is able to rotate to suit their aesthetic. Alongside are abstract paintings that reveal multiple layers and textures that convey the fleeting play of light, moving water, sounds, and emotions.

Jane Smith continues to push the boundaries of the possibilities of combining glass and ceramic – her sculptural pieces are heavily influenced by the Cornish landscape whilst the unique black and white bowls on show work individually or in a series.

Printmaker Lesley Harry said "the process has to communicate the image", and algae, ferns, seeds and lichen are the basis of her new series of screen-prints with a Japanese/Scandinavian feel. In contrast, she uses the traditional medium of etching and aquatint to capture the patterns in Welsh and Cornish streams.

Edge will be in the Spring Gallery at The Poly from 10am to 7pm, from Tuesday, April 11, to Saturday, April 15.
