The Boconnoc Steam Fair which takes place from July 28 to 30 July is set to impress for another year with an extensive and varied steam line-up.
Taking place in the grounds of the Boconnoc Estate, the event is considered one of the largest of its kind in the South West with the show once again expecting more than 50 full size steam exhibits.
For this year there is a new local food tent which will offer a selection of indulgent treats. Tractor pulling provided by Luke Furse will be returning along with the Dancing Diggers who are set to impress the crowd on the Saturday and Sunday. Once again the large working section will feature demonstrations from times gone by - road rolling, crushing and wood sawing.
The three-day show, which attracts over 10,000 visitors, has a new site layout to accommodate more steam engines and an even larger fairground. There really is something for everyone - a vast selection of craft and trade stands providing a vibrant offering of local and unique produce, miniature railway and tractor/steam engine trailer rides to occupy the children and live evening entertainment (Friday and Saturday) for those who wish to soak up the night life amongst the lit steam engines.
Make sure to visit Dales of Cornwall who will be running a family fun treasure hunt allowing you to explore the magnificent Boconnoc Estate whilst taking in all of the sights and sounds.
Tickets are available in advance via the show website, boconnocsteamfair.co.uk, with a special 25 per cent discount to Packet readers by using code PK17.
