Circus Funtasia brings its brand new show to Cornwall this August for a spectacular summer tour.

This modern circus will be rolling into town in Helston, Falmouth and Truro plenty of new faces entertaining the crowds, as well as some old favourites.

Tracy Jones, founder and ring mistress, said: “Our talented acrobats Duo Stefaneli are back with two dramatic gravity-defying performances.

“And we welcome Duo Peris, all the way from Spain, who will be wowing audiences with their incredible roller-skating act and aerial feats.”

Duo Peris, a brother and sister from the fourth generation of a circus family, have been roller-skating from a very young age, and will skate, spin and fly around the ring at great speed.

French tightrope-walker Elodie is joining Circus Funtasia for her first ever performance in the UK. She will dance across the wire with grace and beauty. Her act is not without danger, as she attempts to hula-hoop whilst balancing on the tightrope.

The show also features the UK’s youngest performing juggler, Nia Nikolova Jones, who has just celebrated her fourteenth birthday. Nia’s Harley Quinn inspired act features her juggling on a moving hoverboard with dramatic choreography.

The family atmosphere shines through at Circus Funtasia. With face painting, flashing lights, popcorn, candy floss, hot food, and even a bar, there is enough to keep audiences of all ages entertained from start to finish.

“Our all-human show is very contemporary, with modern music and fast-paced comedy,” Tracy added. “We don’t use animals because we prefer to focus on the incredible energy our acts bring.”

Throughout the show there are heart-warming comedy performances from fresh-faced French clown Anthony. But audiences may need nerves of steel to watch the big finale which features four motorcycle riders inside the terrifying Globe of Death.

This unmissable show runs twice daily in Helston between August 2 and 6, in Falmouth from August 9 to 13, and in Truro between August 16 and 20. They will also be in Bodmin, Hayle, St Austell, Pool and Bude over the following months.
