A new exhibition exploring one critic's vision of wild landscape will open next week at Kestle Barton near Manaccan.

Togetherness: Notes on Outrage presents new works by artists Felicity Hammond, Polly Tootal and Shaun C Badham, alongside, temporary works and film screenings by artists Joseph Townshend, Catherine Yass, Jason Wood, Mark Jenkin, Matthew Burgess and Jamie George.

The exhibition celebrates the pioneering work of the architecture critic Ian Nairn whose 1955 edition of Architectural Review, entitled Outrage, revolutionised architectural criticism. It is the continuation of an ongoing research project first begun at the London project space, South Kiosk. Having first explored Nairn's writings within an urban context in London, Togetherness moves to Kestle Barton to focus on Cornwall and Nairn's writings on the wild environment.

The exhibition runs from September 9 to November 4, with an opening on Saturday, September 9, from 2pm to 5pm including an artist talk at 3pm with Ben James, Dave Charlesworth and Shaun Badham.

There will be another talk on Wednesday, September 27, at 6pm, with Felicity Hammond, Polly Tootal and Ben James.
