The spectacular ice rink at the Eden Project returns on October 18 - ten years after first |opening.
Around 100,000 skaters per year have sharpened their skills at Eden since the ice first set in the |winter of 2004 and once again Eden will have sessions to suit everyone from twirling toddlers to pirouetting seniors.
Public skate sessions costing £6 per person are 40 minutes long and begin on the hour. With a £35 Skater Pass Discount Card, it costs just £3 per session. The card includes entry to the Eden Project for the duration of the Ice Rink and is valid for all general skates.
For very young skaters, Penguin skating aids are ideal for helping them to gain confidence on the ice. They can be hired for any public skating session but pre-booking online is advisable.
There are parent and toddler ice-play sessions for children aged between 18 months and five years, with plenty of toys to enjoy. The sessions last 40 minutes, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
