World class puppeteers and theatre-makers, Light Theatre, |present The Magic Beanstalk at the Princess Pavilion on Sunday, December, 21 and it’s proving so popular that there will now be two showings, one at 11am and the other at 2pm.

Jack, his mum and their cow Daisy are in trouble. Their house is leaking, the phone’s cut off, there’s no food in the fridge - and they’ve got nits!

Something’s got to change and what happens next is an exciting adventure for all girls and boys who believe in magic.

Set in present day Cornwall, beautiful hand carved puppets, illusion and amazing experiments are used to re-tell the classic story of Jack and the Giant who lives through the clouds and over the rainbow.

The production brings back to Cornwall the master puppeteers who were last seen in Kneehigh and The Little Angel’s adaptation of A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings in March 2013.

Age recommendation for |children five and over.
