Princess Pavilion in Falmouth will play host to a multisensory surf-oriented experience in October for the launch of a new webisode series.
Fins and Strings compares and contrasts the worlds of the professional musician and the pro surfer, following a collaboration that leads the viewer through gnarly waves and sublime rock n roll within the inspirational landscape of Cornwall.
It is the brainchild of Mr B, an award winning film maker, and follows three times British champion surfer Alan Stokes and acclaimed band Wille and the Bandits as they work together to write the ultimate surf soundtrack.
The series follows a creative journey from jamming to surfing, writing to recording, as the surfer and the band come together to write and record a new track, which will be performed by Stokesy and the band live to ocean visuals at a one off event at the Princess Pavilion on Friday, October 27, along with a full performance by Wille and the Bandits.
