After providing music for a series of social events at Toast for the area’s local radio station Source FM in 2016, Nate Valentino has been asked back to the central Falmouth venue as their DJ for New Year’s Eve.

Nate Valentino will be playing at Toast in Church Street from 8pm to 3am on New Year's Eve.

Falmouth resident, Nate has played mixes and dance music for the Pink Wig Night three years running and will be back in Events Square in 2018 as he plays his own innovative mixes drawing on an encyclopedic knowledge of music of most genres, often introducing emerging artists heard through his growing network of DJ, label and artist contacts.

Although a previous resident DJ on Falmouth’s club scene, this year Nate has played in between artists backstage at Glastonbury Festival and he searches out new deejay acts at Reading Festival to bring fresh sounds back to Falmouth, such as Radio1 Xtra’s Madam X whose record label Kaizen breaks new music on the urban scene.

Before coming to live in Falmouth, Nate performed regularly in Camden, has been a resident at Pacha globally with regular appearances in Ibiza and has had a favourable review in NME for one of his mixes for Lana Del Rey.

Toast has recently been renovated to provide more space for the range of performers who appear at the venue from comedians on the first Monday of each month, bands, regular music performers from the university and deejays who keep revellers dancing until 2am on weekend nights.

New Year’s Eve will go on til 3am and Nate is already preparing one of his countdowns to see in 2018.
