The 2018 Helly’s Guitar Festival preview on May 19 at The Old Cattle Market in Helston will give axe aficionados a taste of the performances, classes, and jam sessions that will be hosted at the five day festival on August 7-11.
The preview event is completely free to attend and will have a bar, live performances, and a presentation.
The festival in August is five full days, from morning to evening, of guitar performances from international concert artists and more local acts. There will also be talks, demonstrations, interviews, workshops, free lessons, and the all-important chance for artistic minds to mingle, and for people to make new friends.
Director Ben Salfield said: “When Charlotte Arnold and I first decided to organise a guitar festival, we wanted to bring people together, because the feeling of being surrounded by groups of like-minded people is overwhelmingly inspiring.”
