Chocolate lovers out there will be overjoyed to hear that the first commercially available chocolate printer will be arriving at the Poly for admiration on Tuesday, June 30.
This is part of the continuing month-long demonstration of 3D Printing being held there.
The company behind this, Choc Edge, is a spin-out company from Exeter University, which was set up with the aim of introducing 3D printing to a wider audience.
To do this effectively chocolate seemed the way forward and so the Choc Creator was born.
This printer will be on show throughout the day from 10am to 5pm. There will discussions around 3D printing, and especially 3D print food: Is this the future for the confectionary industry? For more details visit www.3dkernow.org.
