Flushing Arts Week is celebrating its 11th year by bringing one of Europe's leading modern ensembles to the village next week.

The Horsemen of the Apocalypse will play a cocktail of flamenco, Latin jazz, renaissance and acoustic rock music in their concert appearance during the packed week of events, which runs from Saturday, May 28 to Saturday, June 4.

As well as the concert, the programme for the week also includes arts workshops, an exhibition displaying Cornish art and sculpture, and a visit from Squash Box Theatre.

The ensemble, who are based in Cornwall, consists of Ben Salfield, Jon Salfield, Simon Stanton and the recently signed, Rowan Nightingale.

The Horsemen of the Apocalypse have chosen to premiere their new dynamic playing as a quartet at this event in front of a home crowd at St Peter's Church, Flushing on Friday, June 3 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the concert cost £7.50 per adult, and are available from Flushing Stores, or by calling 01326 221977.
