The Constantine Arts Society are holding their 41st annual art exhibition, showcasing artwork by members of the group.

The society, which has almost 70 members, welcomes everyone to browse the exhibition or to buy a piece of affordable artwork, and with pieces ranging from local seascape paintings to pieces of pottery, it will feature not just art, but also craft work.

There will be framed and unframed originals, a variety of crafts and cards for sale, and an original painting will also be given away as a raffle prize.

Members of the society range from beginners to professional artists and anyone wishing to join is able to put their name on the waiting list.

The society meet every Tuesday between 11am and 4pm during term time and also hold two workshops each term led by professional artists, enabling members to develop new ideas and techniques.

The affordable arts and crafts exhibition will be held at Constantine church hall from Saturday, July 22 to Saturday, August 13, between 10am and 7pm, and entry is free.
