The Fal River Walk is offering a goody bag to anyone signing up for the walk this year before the end of July.

The Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen is organising its annual walk from the National Trust's Trelissick House around the Fal Estuary, and thanks to the support of local businesses, they have an early bird incentive to offer keen walkers..

For one day only, ferries from Restronguet Point to the Pandora, from Flushing to St Mawes and from Turnaware to Trelissick Pontoon will enable walkers to complete a 15 mile circuit of Carrick Roads on foot.

An alternative shorter route will begin with a ferry ride from Trelissick Pontoon to St Mawes, before walkers complete the five mile coastal path past St Just-in-Roseland to Turnaware and the short ferry ride back to Trelissick.

The event has raised many thousands of pounds for a range of good causes over the last eight successful years, and this year the Rotary Club will be raising funds for the Merlin MS Centre at Hewas Water, which is a facility to support people with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

The Fal River Walk will talk place on Sunday, September 25.
