The winner of BBC Radio's New Comedy Award is returning to Truro to perform at Mustard and Rye's comedy night due to popular demand.
Jethro Bradley from Cardiff, who triumphed at the Edinburgh Festival, winning a 15-minute script commission by the BBC and £1,000, will be performing alongside two other acts at the comedy event next Wednesday.
Headlining the event, Cerys Nelmes will perform a full-length 60-minute comedy show. Cerys, who was born in the Cotswolds, can often be heard on BBC Radio Bristol’s breakfast show, as well as at top comedy nights run by Comedy Grove, Jongleurs, Comedy Store and Mirth Control. She has also performed at comedy festivals, including Cheltenham and Edinburgh.
Cardiff-based comedian, Chris Chopping, is also featured in the line-up for the comedy event. Chris, who has over 50 gigs experience, won You Must Be Joking, Newbury Act of The Year 2011 and Bedford New Act of the year 2012.
