Godolphin has plenty of festive fun for the whole family this Christmas.

The gardens, estate and tea room will be open every day over the festive period, excluding Christmas eve and Christmas day.

On the weekends of November 26 & 27, December 3 & 4, and December 10 & 11, Godolphin will be opening its doors for visitors to enter the house and get into the festive spirit warming up next to the fire, decorating gingerbread biscuits and listening to Christmas carols.

The house will also be hosting Christmas craft workshops from November 28 to 30, and December 5 to 7. These will include Christmas cupcake workshops on Mondays; tree decoration craft workshops on Tuesdays, and festive wreath making workshops on Wednesdays.

The workshops will take place from 11am to 4pm at a cost of £25 per person, with a light lunch included in the price.

Visitors can also book a place on a guided tour to learn the history of the estate, before enjoying a Christmas buffet served in the dining room. The guided tours will take place on December 1, 2, 8 & 9 from 12pm to 4pm at a cost of £25 per person, which includes a Godolphin goody bag.

Booking for the workshops and tours is essential and can be done by calling 01736 763194.
