Scary Little Girls are inviting everyone to join them for an evening of free festive fun in Falmouth.

The professional performers are joining members of the Falmouth community to stage an evening of festive song, dance and revelry at The Poly.

The event is the last in a series of heritage events that have been run throughout the year celebrating the birth of Falmouth philanthropist, Anna Maria Fox, 200 years ago.

The Cornish Christmas celebration will feature seasonal entertainment from the highly acclaimed Scary Little Girls, Bec Appleby and poet, Charles Fox.

Following the performance, guests are invited to move to the gallery to enjoy mince pies, figgy oggin and a glass or two or fizzy wine while students from Mawnan Smith primary school regale them with traditional song and dance.

Experts will also be on hand to discuss Anna Maria's legacy as the event sees the launch of a special app which gives fascinating insights into the philanthropist's life and influence on Falmouth and the surrounding areas, as well as a campaign to see her life achievements recognised with an English Heritage blue plaque.

The festive fun and frolics will take place at The Poly on Sunday, December 4 at 6pm.

The event is free to attend but booking is advised as there are limited spaces available. Tickets are available by calling The Poly on 01326 319461.
