A Cornwall-based multiple media sculptor is hosting his first book launch in Falmouth on Friday.
Tim Shaw, one of the country's leading sculptors, has had his first monograph published covering his career of 25 years work.
Tim's impressive list of commissions include The Minotaur for the Royal Opera House, London, and The Drummer for Lemon Quay, Truro. He has also had significant solo exhibitions throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally.
The book, which is illustrated with some of the sculptor's best-known works, offers great insight and perspectives on the practice of an artist concerned primarily with matters of civilisation.
Tim Shaw's book launch will take place at the Falmouth Art Gallery on Friday, December 2 from 6pm to 8pm.
A short talk will be given at 6.30pm by acclaimed producer and writer, Don Jordan, who has contributed to the book. Then a limited number of signed copies of the book will be available at a special price during the drinks reception.
