The Poly in Falmouth will play host next week to an exhibition of paintings inspired by Meudon and Maenporth created by two local artists.
Vicki Gillow and Jo Flemming have created their exhibition, In the Meud, which draws together the work on the Falmouth coastline.
Vicki, who draws on her Cornish heritage for much of her inspiration, said the exhibition took its name from notes written on visits to Meudon and Maenporth: "When I am anything but in the mood (Meud)... I make visits, frequent and always different, rarely disturbed by others, who like the same space.
"This what I do in the main (Maen)."
In the Meud will be at The Poly from February 21 to February 25, from 10am to 7pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 6pm on Saturday.
