The Falmouth Society of Railway Modellers will be holding an open day at the Athenaeum Club in Kimberley Place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, March 18.

Entry is free and there will be model railways on display, demonstrations and sales stands. The society's aim is to foster the interest in model railways and its members' interests range from historical to the contemporary scene and cover a variety of scales and gauges.

The society's David Curtis said: "Why not come along for a chat and see what we and this fascinating hobby are all about?"
