Mysterious festival band A Blaze of Feather join Armand Van Helden and DJ Shadow among the latest list of names to be announced for this year's Boardmasters festival.

Today Boardmasters revealed the third set of acts to perform at this year's surf and music festival, joining headliners Two Door Cinema Club, Jamiroquai and Alt-J, as well as The Flaming Lips, The Vaccines and Stormzy at Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.

Among the names are Grammy Award nominated DJ Armand Van Helden, and sultry sounding 18-year-old singer Raye, who featured prominently on hits such as Jax Jones’ You Don’t Know Me and Jonas Blue’s By Your Side.

The mysterious A Blaze Of Feather have been cropping up on festival bills across the country, appearing third from top on Latitude’s second stage, and ranking alongside Laura Marling at London festival Citadel, yet no-one knows any more about them.

Other acts announced today include Californian hip hot veteran DJ Shadow, and actor Idris Elba, who is also a well-respected DJ, while Natty will perform an acoustic set, and professional surfer Landon McNamara will be showcasing his love of reggae.

And that's not to mention British rockers The Amazons, Wretch 32, Netsky, Icarus, Ten Tonnes and Sam Fender, Digital Farm Animals, Cornwall’s very own 18-year-old Daisy Clark, Late Evening Glass Off, Will Heard, Kioko, Conducta, San Felu, Tommy Ashby and Will Joseph Cook.

Boardmasters also boasts the Beach Sessions on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 August, with intimate sunset gigs on Fistral Beach.

The sessions will feature electro-dub pioneers Dreadzone on Wednesday, while Thursday’s line-up brings together San Diego’s Ocean Beach favourites Slightly Stoopid, Landon McNamara and Canadian folk duo Jon and Roy.

Boardmasters operates a tiered ticket system with price bands for tickets changing over time, while Beach Sessions tickets are sold separately.

All tickets are on sale now, including a Charger ticket covering bus pass, parking, VIP camping, Beach Session gigs, after parties, Boardmasters t-shirt and a tote bag.
