Constantine Arts Society is holding its 42nd annual exhibition of art and crafts over three weeks starting on Saturday, July 22, and running through until Saturday, August 12.

With over 70 members the society is one of Cornwall’s premier art societies. Members meet weekly in the Church Hall at Constantine and have monthly workshops with professional artists who are prepared to pass on their skills.

The exhibition will feature over 200 paintings which will be for sale at reasonable prices in oil, acrylic, pastel and pencil, framed and unframed, plus ceramics and other craft works made by the members. There'll be something for everyone.

The church Hall has been the society' home since it was founded by a small group of local artists and once again the society will be raising money for the hall's roof appeal.

The society has, over the years, grown into this large and successful club, attracting artists from further afield. It has its own website, constantineartssociety.co.uk, where members work can be seen and purchased.

The exhibition is open daily between 11am and 6pm, admission is free and children are most welcome.
