The Little Orchard Cider Festival have announced their biggest lineup yet, with The Fratellis, Hayseed Dixie, and The Wurzels to play this year’s event.

The festival will be hosted at Healy’s Cider Farm in Penhallow and will run from September 14-16.

Festival organiser Ben Hall said: “We have booked some truly amazing acts for our 6th event and can’t wait to open the gates to festival fans.”

Scottish rockers The Fratellis will be playing the main stage on Saturday September 15 to support their latest album In Your Own Sweet Time.

Their fifth album to date, In Your Own Sweet Time was released on March 16 after a ten year anniversary tour of their debut album Costello Music.

Festival goers can expect the event’s biggest ever headliners to play a mix of their classic hits as well as music from more recent albums as the band enters their twelfth year of playing together.

Hayseed Dixie will headline the first day of the festival with their original tunes and unique bluegrass renditions of popular rock songs.

Back by popular demand, The Wurzels will bring their cider-infused musical stylings to the first day of the festival.

The band hail from Somerset and their love of the apple-based beverage is legendary.

They played last year’s festival and delighted festival goers with aptly named hits such as I am a Cider Drinker, as well as other classics like The Combine Harvester and Blackbird.

BBC Music’s Introducing in Cornwall stage will return to the festival this year to showcase smaller acts.
