The line-up for this year’s Great Cornish Food Festival has now been revealed with star of modern seafood cookery, Nathan Outlaw, joining Andy Appleton and Stephanie Deloume at one of the biggest events dedicated to Cornish food and drink.

Around 40,000 foodlovers are expected to head to Turo’s Lemon Quay for the free, three day, extravaganza.

The seasoned pros will be rubbing shoulders with new names Chloe Marsland, young chef patronne of the tiny Harbour Lights Restaurant in the fishing village of Coverack, and Rick Toogood, whose Prawn on the Lawn venture is the latest addition to the buzzing Padstow food scene.

Loyal festival headliner, Nathan Outlaw, who will be creating the festival finale on the Sunday, said: “I feel like I've grown up with the Great Cornish Food Festival as I've been coming every year since it began. It's a fantastic opportunity to see all the wonderful food and drink that Cornwall has to offer in one place and I'm really pleased to see how successful is has become.”

This year will see two BBC Radio Cornwall presenters go head to head in a Clotted Cream Tea Bake-Off that will be judged by one of the experts at Rodda’s – who know a thing or two about about cream teas after making their clotted cream for 125 years.

There will also be a Cornish Coctail Contest, which will consist of two legal beagles from Coodes rolling up their sleeves for some serious mixology.
