A musical blast of sunshine can be had this Saturday on Truro Piazza, as Cornwall’s own Backbeat Soundsystem deliever a dose of funk reggae fusion.
The eight-piece band are laden with grooves, their |up-tempo song craft drawing from numerous influences in creation of a tight, elated sun-clasped sound.
Over the past three summers, Backbeat toured the UK festival circuit playing 18 of the most prestigious festivals, and have shared bills across the country with the likes of Cypress Hill, Arrested Development, Easy Star All-Stars, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, The Streets and Dub Pistols.
Support on the night comes from St Agnes dub reggae band The Stalks plus a Reggae Soundsystem from DJ KBS Doors open at 7pm, tickets are £5 in advance from www.seetickets.com or call 0871 2200260
