IF you want something to harp on about this week, then make sure you’ve got your ticket to the Acorn in Penzance for May 2.
Since their formation in 2009, Harpeth Rising has been building a reputation by breaking down musical boundaries.
Their virtuosic instrumentals of banjo and fiddle mixed with cello and foot percussion create an exciting and unique blend of musical genres.
Their vocals, soaring and intimate, convey powerful lyrics that are both personal and topical.
Within a year of their move to Music City, they were voted 'Best Local Band in Nashville' by the Tennessean.
Harpeth Rising has been touring both nationally and internationally for four years with performances that include numerous festival appearances.
A little bit bluegrass, a little bit classical, a little bit roots and a whole lot of original, Harpeth Rising is a band to watch.
The trio will be performing in Penzance at The Acorn Theatre on Friday, May 2.
This concert will mark the beginning of Harpeth Rising's fourth tour of the UK.
The concert begins at 8pm and tickets are £12 at the door or £10 in advance at 01726 879500 or www.crbo.co.uk.
