The Falmouth Folk and Cider Fayre returns this year from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 30 at Falmouth’s Event Square.
After the success of last year’s event, organisers have pulled out all the stops to deliver an eclectic line up of some of the finest traditional and acoustic music out there. Festivities get underway on Friday from 7pm with a free Ceilidh and barn dance with The Other Band. Playing over the Saturday and Sunday will be extremely popular 3 Daft Monkeys heading up this spectacular event with their alternative acoustic folk of Cornish tales and superstitions, plus the captivating international folk artist Sarah McQuaid. Also on the bill will be Strange Hillfolk, The Changing Room, Kezia, Harry Collier, The Oggymen, The Thatchers and much more lined up over the weekend.
As if this amazing line-up of quality live music wasn’t enough visitors will also get the opportunity to savour over 40 guest specialist ciders from around the country including Black Rat, Rosie’s Pig, Hogans Hazy Daisy, Gwynt Y Draig Happy Daze, Westons Raspberry Twist, Cornish Orchards Vintage to name a few.
With market traders, food stands and obviously the cider and entertainment the third annual Falmouth Folk and Cider Fayre is shaping up to be the place to be.
