SPECTATORS at this summer’s Symphony By The Sea at Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay will be able to enjoy the classical concert come rain or shine thanks to a unique ‘tented village’ being planned for the event.
The Last Night of the Proms style event on Sunday, July 26 2015 will see Cornish Sinfonia Orchestra perform an evening of classical music against the backdrop of Cornwall’s stunning coastline.
The event will be the most ambitious concert ever staged at Lusty Glaze Beach. The Cornish Sinfonia Orchestra consists of 37 musicians who will fill the cove with uplifting tunes and classical favourites, culminating in a choreographed firework display that will set the night sky alight.
To complement the scene, guests will be able to pre-order hampers of fine food and Champagne to enjoy during the concert. It is largely a seated event but guests are welcome to bring their own blankets and rugs to make themselves comfortable on the beach.
