Golowan celebrates its silver anniversary this year and local DJs are dusting off their records from the 1990s in preparation for the Golowan Ball taking place Saturday, June 27 at The Mill, Penzance.
A playlist of breaks and beats that span from 1990’s old school house to present day dance music is set to be the soundtrack for the Golowan anniversary ball starting at 10pm.
A musical journey across the era will be delivered in two rooms of ‘musical mayhem’ from sets by Ben Jordan, Brett Taylor, Danny Armstrong, Dave Spenceley, Gary Hughes, Jason Ball, Louis Vanhinsbergh, Nigel Pengelly, Paul Weschke and Ry Spenceley.
For those who want to dress up for the party, the theme is street wear across the decades, though remember shell suits can get very sweaty.
Tickets for the ball are priced at £10 and are available from Fishboy, The Frontroom and online from Tickethive.
