FALMOUTH Week is inching ever closer and promises to be another ten days of top entertainment with chart-toppers Five and Dr and the Medics taking top billing.

Tickets are already on sale for the seven nights of music at Events Square, which as usual is being provided by South West Bars & Events. Across the week there is something to suit all tastes, from regular visitors The Wurzels and Rudi's Message, to newcomers such as Toploader and Oasis tribute Definitely Mightbe.

Away from Events Square there is also a packed programme of events which includes the return of The red Arrows and the RNLI's fun on the quay on August 12, the Outlaw Summer Market on The Moor, the Action Sports Tour on Church Street car park and Dragon Boat Racing.

For many, though, it is the Events Square line-up that is eagerly awaited and here's what Falmouth Week 2015 has to offer at-a-glance: Friday, August 7: Pink Wig Ladies Nigh, live music from The Strutts, DJ and raffle.

Saturday, August 8: Falmouth Week Carnival Party - free entry party with live music from The Soul Sensations plus DJ.

Sunday, August 9: The Wurzels Hog Roast and Cider Night - the West Country legends return for a night of their classics including Cider Drinker, Blackbird and I Gotta Brand New Combine ‘Arvester, complete with fancy dress competition and hog roast with support from The Thatchers.

Monday, August 10: Toploader, with support from Land of The Giants, chart topping Toploader (Dancing in the Moonlight, Onka’s Big Moka, Magic Hotel) make an Falmouth Week debut.

Tuesday, August 11: Jump and Jive night with Company B. Live show from Cornish seven piece bringing the sights and sounds of the 1940s bang up to date. With support from Almost Blues.

Wednesday, August 12: Tribute night with Definitely MightBe, the UK's number one tribute act to Oasis will be perform classics from Wonderwall to the Cigarettes and Alcohol. With support from Loco, and more acts TBA.

Thursday, August 13: Ska Night with Rudi’s Message, the fourth consecutive year for this rowdy skankin’ night that is building up a huge following.

Friday, August 14: 80s/90s Extravaganza with FIVE, Doctor and The Medics, Phatts & Small and K Klass - fancy dress night with tickets already selling fast so book early to avoid disappointment - over 18s only.

Saturday, August 15: Poldark and Pirates Night - ending Falmouth Week celebrations in style with live music and entertainment from Freshly Squeezed, who will bring celebrations to a close with their addictive mix of funk, soul, jazz, hip hop and electronica.
