Following his triumphant show at New York’s Madison Square Garden as part of a US tour, Morrissey has announced an extra date for his UK tour in September and will be appearing at the Plymouth Pavilions.
The singer, who released his highly acclaimed autobiography in 2013, is described as the most distinctive pop lyricist of his era. His last album World Peace Is None Of Your Business marked his first solo release since 2009's Years of Refusal. The album charted at number two in the UK, and is Morrissey’s 12th top ten UK album.
Tickets for the Plymouth gig on September 15 went on sale this week and are available from www.plymouthpavilions.com or by calling the box office on 0845 146 1460.
Bryony Carter, marketing executive at Plymouth Pavilions, said: “We’re very excited to welcome Morrissey back to the venue, he is an incredible performer and fantastic showman with a legendary back catalogue. Tickets will be going like hot cakes, if you don’t want to miss out, get in there and snap them up.”
Tickets cost: £52.25 (limit ten per person - ticket prices inc ten per cent per ticket booking fee).
