The music of The Carpenters is coming to Truro in a tribute show with Toni Lee starring as Karen Carpenter.
'We've only just begun' is a celebration of The Carpenters music and the spirit of Karen Carpenter, who with brother Richard achieved an unprecedented 17 consecutive US top ten hits.
The show has played to sold-out venues around the world since it formed after Toni Lee's vocal resemblance to Karen Carpenter was discovered on ITV's Stars in their eyes.
'We've only just begun' celebrates the songs of The Carpenters with a live eight-piece big band taking the audience on a musical journey of hits, including (They long to be) Close to you, Rainy days and Mondays, Superstar, Please Mr. postman, We've only just begun and Top of the world.
Toni Lee will be taking to the Hall for Cornwall stage as Karen Carpenter on Friday, May 27 at 7.30pm.
