Internationally acclaimed violinist, Lisa Ueda, is performing in Flushing next week.

Lisa has performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Festival Hall in Tokyo and Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as venues in London.

The violinist has premiered a number of works, including the world premiere of Nobuya Monta’s Violin Concerto, which was written especially for her; Dmitri Smirnov’s Dream Journey and Nobuya Monta’s Otohime. Her UK premieres include Monta’s Sakura Mai and Tomiko Kohjiba’s Rublyov’s Door.

For this concert, Lisa will be bringing with her the Anern Trio, including the former principal cellist of the BBC Concert Orchestra, Nigel Blomiley, and Chinese pianist, Siu Chui Li.

Among the works to be performed will be the G minor piano quartet by Mozart.

Lisa Ueda will be performing at St Peter's Church in Flushing on Thursday, August 4 at 7.30pm.
