Seven legendary sixties acts will take to the Cornish stage for one night only and deliver a night never to be forgotten.

The Sensational Sixties Experience will be bringing the feel good factor to Hall for Cornwall, with Herman’s Hermits, Chris Farlowe, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Fortunes, The Ivy League, and The New Amen Corner, compered by Alan Mosca from Freddie and The Dreamers.

Herman’s Hermits were a major force in the mid-sixties music scene, chalking up over 20 top 20 singles, ten hit albums, and three movies, and to date the band has sold 75 million records worldwide.

Their hits include Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, Silhouettes, There’s A Kind Of Hush, Henry VIII, Something Is Happening and I’m Into Something Good, and they still perform over 200 shows a year worldwide.

Chris Farlowe, originally singer with The Thunderbirds, started out in the late fifties with hits including classics like Out Of Time, Handbags and Glad Rags - made famous by Rod Stewart, Let The Heartaches Begin, and Reach Out I’ll Be There.

The Swinging Blue Jeans have had many hit singles over the years, including Hippy Hippy Shake, Good Golly Miss Molly and Don’t Make Me Over, and current frontman Alan Lovell is ensuring the band continue to tour with all their classic songs.

The Fortunes produced sixties classics such as You’ve Got Your Troubles, Here It Comes Again and continued into the seventies with more successful releases such as Storm in a Teacup and Freedom Come, Freedom Go.

The Ivy League guarantee to have the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter, coupled with hit records Funny How Love Can Be, Tossing and Turning, and That’s Why I’m Crying, can provide the feel good factor at it’s very best.

Final act The New Amen Corner are a force to be reckoned with on any stage, and will keep the audience entertained with classics such as If Paradise Is Half As Nice and Bend Me Shape Me.

The Sensational Sixties Experience will be at the Hall For Cornwall on Monday, October 10, at 7.30pm, and tickets are available from the box office on 01872 262466 or online at www.hallforcornwall.co.uk
