This week's line up at the Princess Pavilion boasts both a pioneering rock band and an electro swing band.

The Fall, a band often referred to as "the most prolific band of the British post-punk movement", will be at the Falmouth venue on Thursday, followed by the Electric Swing Circus on Friday.

The Fall will be supported by Mildred Maude, a three-piece improv band, in their gig at the Princess Pavilion on Thursday, October 6 at 8.30pm.

Tickets cost £21.

After their sell out gig last year, the Electric Swing Circus then returns to the Princess Pavilion the following day.

The six-piece fusion of saucy '20s swing and stomping electro beat will be bringing everything from breakbeat and house to reggae and dubstep, all with their own unique style of swing.

Support for the event is once again from Cornwall’s high energy Hong Kong Ping Pong, who have 'fresh, funky, and fun’ as their mantra.

Dress up and get down, the circus is coming to town.

The Electric Swing Circus will be at the Princess Pavilion on Friday, October 7 at 8.30pm.

Tickets cost £12.50.

Tickets for both events are available from the Pavilion box office on 01326 211222, or online at princesspavilion.co.uk.
