An Australian singer songwriter embarking on his first tour of the South West is performing a free gig at Gylly Beach Cafe next weekend.

Patrick James, who has an innate flair for soft acoustics, stirring harmonies and heavy-hearted lyrics, has been tipped as "Australia's answer to James Bay" since beginning his act on the streets, performing as an on-again-off-again busker.

His big break came when his breath-taking cover of The Church’s 'Under The Milky Way' was picked up by Australian TV drama,Wonderland, and broadcast to millions.

Patrick has since released two EP’s, sold out headline shows throughout Australia and New Zealand multiple times and supported the likes of Emma Louise, Josh Pyke and The Paper Kites.

Patrick James will be at Gylly Beach Cafe on Sunday, October 30 at 7.30pm to perform a free gig with support from Joe Francis.
