The Tolmen Centre is hosting a night of original Cornish folk music by a band that won all three categories of the 2015 International Pan Celtic Song Contest.

The Changing Room, which was created two years ago by Sam Kelly and Tanya Brittain, will be performing songs from their latest album, which was released earlier this year.

Sam and Tanya are the two constant members of the band, which always has a door left open for the line-up of other musicians to change and evolve. Their current five-piece touring line-up includes Jamie Francis on banjo, Evan Carson on percussion and Morrigan Palmer Brown on harp.

Belinda O’Hooley and John McCusker have joined Sam and Tanya on their latest album, which features a variety of songs about the county's industrial heritage and deeper issues, including some songs sung in the Cornish language and many with humour also thrown in.

The Changing Room will be playing at the Tolmen Centre on Thursday, December 1 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £11, £10 for concessions, and are available from the box office on 01326 341353, or online at tolmencentre.co.uk.
