A local group of singers have released a charity album to raise money and awareness for Little Harbour Cornish Hospice and Children’s Hospice South West.

The Trelawny Singers, a four-piece male harmony group, released their album, Another Day to support the hospice, which provides care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West.

The front cover of the album was designed by the children at Little Harbour after they listened to the main title track and took inspiration from the song, which was written and originally sung by the famous Welsh baritone, Bryn Terfel.

His original version helped to raise funds for the Hope House Appeal, a children’s hospice near Oswestry, who kindly gave their blessing for the Trelawny Singers to record their version of it to raise money for the Cornish charities.

The album being sold to raise funds for the charity costs £10 and is a collection of well-known ballads, songs from musicals, hymns and traditional songs.

It can be purchased online at hmsshipshape.co.uk/product/another-day-cd-album/, where a sample can also be played.

All proceeds from CD sales are being donated to the charity.
