The male and female duo of Lorena Quintanilla (‘Lorelle’) and Alberto Gonzalez (‘The Obsolete’) plus band will be playing an intimate show at Beerwolf Books on April 7 as they continue touring to support last year’s album release Balance.
The event is being promoted by up and coming psych rock record label Wrong Way Records run by local boy Al Boyd and Falmouth record label Bad Records run by local girl Mathilde Baade.

Lorelle and the Obsolete will be releasing a new single, The Sound Of All Things, taken from Balance: A long song where lapping, ambient beauty gives way to a stormy sea of psych-rock, which according to the band is inspired by John Cage and the ocean near their home in Ensenada, Baja California.
The band will be supported by Déjà Vega from Manchester, recently signed to Wrong Way Records and hotly tipped as one of the best psych bands around, and Anglepoise (ft Noisefriends), a noise merchant playing his own material and accompanied by some noisy friends.
Lorelle Meets the Obsolete will be at at Beerwolf Books on April 7 from 7.30pm, and tickets are £7 from Jam Records, Beerwolf and SeeTickets.
