Here Comes the Summer, and a chance to get your Teenage Kicks as The Undertones take to the stage at the Looe Music Festival.

The Derry punks, who formed in 1974 and whose early hits included My Perfect Cousin, Jimmy Jimmy, and Wednesday Week.will be headlining the mains stage on September 30, while south London duo The Correspondents will be at the Harbour Marquee.

The subject of two documentaries, The Undertones’ debut album is included in Q Magazine’s 100 Greatest British albums of all time.

Also crossing the Irish Sea to Cornwall are Breaking Trad. Made up of Dónal Murphy, winner of numerous all-Ireland titles on both button accordion and melodeon, Niall Murphy all-Ireland senior fiddle champion, and also multi-instrumentalist Mike Galvin.

The Correspondents have been listed in The Telegraph's top ten highlights of Glastonbury for two years running, and will take you on a journey through the nether regions of electro and drum‘n’bass.

Joining the BBC Music Introducing line-up this year are Rose Kimberley and Oh Majester, both hailing from Cornwall.

Names already announced on the electric line-up for LMF2017 are Happy Mondays, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Lulu, Cast, The Membranes, Holy Moly & the Crackers, 50 Year Storm and Mike Dennis.

The festival takes place from September 29 to October 1, with 90 bands, five stages, and one big party on the beach.
