Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival returns to the grounds of Healey’s Cyder Farm on Friday 8 to Sunday 10 September.

The three-day event fuses live music, secret cider walks, tractor rides and glamping in hobbit huts, and is now moving into its fifth year, with The Wurzels unveiled as Friday’s official headline act.

Jam-packed with a variety of things to see and do from morning through to night, there’s a lot more to this boutique festival than just apples.

Along with the cider loving Wurzels, other confirmed acts for this year’s event include Electric Swing Circus, The Jar Family, The Leylines and King Creature.

Little Orchard will once again showcase Cornwall’s freshest talent on the dedicated BBC Introducing Stage. Playing host to a string of live performances across the three-day event, the much-loved stage will celebrate under the radar musicians and the region’s rising stars.

Following its successful launch in 2016, The Little Orchard Feast Village will return bigger and better than ever. Catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the dedicated Feast Village will be home to a selection of local food traders sharing their culinary expertise and delicious cuisine.

No cider festival is complete without cider and with over 100 different options to choose from, festivalgoers will undoubtedly be spoilt for choice. Those with a keen interest to learn more about the local tipples can book a spot on one of the many secret cider walks that take place throughout the weekend. Guiding guests to an opening in the trees, Dobbins and her Apple Bobbins team host a cider-pairing banquet complete with a makeshift table made from bales of straw.

Small festivalgoers will have the run of circus workshops, face painting, arts and crafts sessions and bouncy castles, while the Vintage Fun Fair includes a giant Ferris wheel and bumper cars.

Festival organiser Ben Hall said: “Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival is a fantastic weekend for families, friends and couples alike. Each year the festival gets better and better, with new attractions being added and more fun for the children to have. This year’s event was a huge success and it was the first time we have fully sold out. I’m really looking forward to next year especially since we have secured The Wurzels for Saturday night.”

Little Orchard offers a variety of camping options, including unique Hobbit Huts combining glamping with a fantasy world of dwarves, dragons, trolls and wizards,.

Other exciting additions include an eco-spa area featuring wood fire hot tubs and sauna yurts, morning yoga sessions and comedy hours.

Weekend camping tickets are currently on sale priced at £65, plus £2.50 booking fee, and entry is free for under 14s, with a £1.50 booking fee.
