Soul legend Otis Redding will be remembered on the anniversary of his birth with a night of celebration in Penzance next Friday.
On September 8, DJ Ralph Randell will be holding Night Of Respect, an evening celebrating the music of the great 1960s singer, 76 years to the day after he was born.
The DJ will be playing Otis Redding tracks on vinyl, while large screen shows footage of the singer performing live, along with a range of other 60s soul songs and videos.
Night of Respect will be at the Astro Park on St Clare Street in Penzance, from 8.30pm to midnight, and admission is £5 before 9.30pm and £7 after.
