Trevada Music in Camborne will be holding a free flute workshop on Wednesday, October 18, with innovative flute player Tilmann Dehnhard.
Tilmann Dehnhard studied flute and saxophone at the Berlin University of the Arts and film music at the Film and Television Academy in Babelsberg.
He has performed on CDs and in concerts with Sam Rivers, Steve Lacey, Evan Parker, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Till Brönner and others. He gives concerts and workshops for jazz and free improvisation in Europe, Asia and South America.
As a guest professor at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Columbia he devised the curriculum for the new jazz course, and lives and works as a freelance musician and composer in Berlin.
The workshop is free of charge to flute players, and people need to call the shop on 01209 714353 to book a place.
