A SPECTACULAR double-header with two of Falmouth’s most exciting bands, Biere de Luxe and Leigh Delamere & the Gordanos, promises boogie-woogie, gypsy, punk, skiffle and rock’n’roll nirvana.

Classed as Falmouth’s very own “Rolling Stones of Gypsy-punk”, the accordion and bouzouki wielding wildcards of bohemian rock Biere de Luxe will be joining forces with the town’s roughest piano-mangling skifflers Leigh Delamere & the Gordanos for a one-off spectacular at Falmouth Rugby Club on Saturday,February 24.

Presented by Blind Pig Boogie, suppliers of prohibition-era entertainment to Masked Ball and Boardmasters festivals, this night will transform the rugby club into a mystical den of mythical mayhem with music to match - organiser Leigh Delamere promises “not only the dimmest light show, shabbiest decor and the fastest piano playing in town, but two of the tallest accordionists ever heard in Cornwall and a strictly pre-war DJ policy”.

Tickets are £5 from blindpigboogie.co.uk or £6 on the door, doors open 7.30pm.
