Nineteen year old singer songwriter Daisy Clark will be performing at The Old Bakery Studios in Truro to launch her new EP on Saturday May 19.

Daisy found success after posting a bedroom recording of her cover of the Grease song Hopelessly Devoted to You, which was eventually viewed over thirteen million times.

She later went on to release the track as a single, sparking interest with major labels in the UK and US and bagging her appearances on every show from Lorraine to Blue Peter.

After the success of her debut cover, she released her first original track: 'Worlds Away'. The song is an exploration of how relationships can change with fame, and it is the perfect example of Daisy's uncompromisingly sweet sound.

The upbeat track had a music video shot and received a glowing press reception, and was also playlisted by BBC Radio 2.

Daisy will be releasing her first EP 'Once Upon a Time' on May 19. The EP is already out for pre-order and can be purchased on all the major streaming sites including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

The gig in Truro will be supported by Joe Hurworth and Charlotte Lloyd-Butler. Both Joe and Charlotte are based in Cornwall - Joe is from Newquay and Charlotte is a music student at Falmouth University.

Charlotte plays atmospheric indie music and has toured the UK, with performances at both Boardmasters and Wilderness festivals.

Tickets are £7 and are available from buytickets.at/oldbakerystudios.
