Lots of laughs are guaranteed when King Charles Mummers’ perform their production of Derek Benfield’s hilarious production of Beyond a Joke from Thursday, April 10 to Saturday 12.
Directed by Penny Weston, the play centres around a pleasant country house owned by Jane and Andrew where six people have already died in unfortunate or embarrassing circumstances. When the couple’s daughter, Sally, invites her young man, Geoff, for the weekend he is unaware of her home’s reputation and gets the idea that the deaths had much more sinister implications.
