The tale of Dick Whittington and his Mousehole Cat will be told at The Hall for Cornwall next month for what will be their Christmas season special production.
This festive cracker, ideal for the whole family, will be on the stage from next Sunday, December 6 and will run through to December 20.
The cast has recently been announced as including Granville Saxton as Alderman Fitzwarren and Kernow King as Kenwyne, Kimberley Moses as Mousehole the Cat, David Haydn as King Rat, Joanna Monro at Auntie Flo, Joel Macey as Dick Whittington and Danielle Black at Alice Fitzwarren.
The show tells the story of Dick Whittington who set off from Cornwall to follow his dreams of fame and riches. Times, however, are hard and before long our hero hasn't got a penny to his name and nobody but his faithful cat for company. So, he returns home. Will Dick find his fortune after all? Or will his hopes be thwarted by the menacing King Rat?
