An international film festival will be visiting Truro to showcase some of the newest and best films from the global mountain and culture sports community.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival world tour has two different programmes being held at the Hall for Cornwall, one on Tuesday, 9 February and the other on Friday, 22 April.
Now in its seventh edition, the 2016 UK and Ireland leg of the tour is set to be the largest tour to date.
Offering audiences the opportunity to gather indoors to celebrate the outdoors, the festival showcases a diverse collection of 13 films which have been selected from over 350 films entered.
The programme includes Eclipse, Operation Moffat, A Line Across The Sky and Unbranded.
These films explore remote cultures, highlight intense expeditions through exotic landscapes and bring into focus adrenaline-packed action sports.
Tickets for the festival are available online at www.Banff-uk.com.
