Jonny and the Baptists are bringing their musical comedy to Falmouth following the show's acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe premiere.

Their latest show, The end is nigh, combines comedy, theatre and satirical rock in a captivating story of family, friendship, climate change and environmental disaster.

Last year, after accidentally telling his four-year-old niece that climate change would end the world, Jonny tried to stop her crying by promising with Paddy to fix it, and after trying hard to do so, the show offers their most personal, and apocalyptic, venture to date.

Playing 40 dates over two months, this marks their most extensive tour yet and follows last year's sell-out Rock The Vote tour, alongside TV appearances by the multi-award-nominated act.

As a joint comedy act, Jonny and the Baptists have topped the iTunes comedy chart with their single, Farage, and have been regulars on BBC Radio 4's The Now Show.

In their solo careers, Jonny Donahoe has been nominated for a New York Drama Desk Award for his hit one-man show on international tour, Every Brilliant Thing, while Paddy Gervers has grown a following for his acclaimed podcast, Podshambles.

Jonny and the Baptists: The end is nigh will be at The Poly on Thursday, May 26 at 8pm.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £10 concessions and are available from The Poly box office on 01326 319461 (Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 7pm), or online at www.thepoly.org.
